‘Arcane Cycling Team’ & ‘Fintona Cycling Club’ to share a Sponsor & Rider transfer deal for 2016 / 2017 Race Seasons.

‘Bicycle Design Centre’ are delighted to finally announce a sponsorship deal with ‘Fintona Cycling Club’ (Omagh, Co. Tyrone). BDC will be the Title Jersey Sponsor for two years (2016 / 2017) .
The deal includes an agreement between our ‘Arcane Cycling Team’, and Fintona CC for a free transfer of riders for National & International events.

Fintona Cycling Club are pleased to announce we will be returning to our traditional title in 2016 after several years of adopting our website title, www.westtyronevelo.com.

As well as being the longest established cycling club in West Tyrone having being formed in 1968, Fintona CC has a strong heritage of event promotion, success in regional and national competition and raising money for charities through numerous leisure activities. The club has been involved in promoting events throughout the West Tyrone area and its membership base has often reflected this.

For 2016 the club are also pleased to announce that they will be sponsored by the Bicycle Design Centre. The company specialises in custom bikes handbuilt at its headquarters in County Kildare. This will also include an arrangement with the Bicycle Design Centre sponsored Arcane Cycling Team for composite teams in some competitive events along with joint track training and coaching support. There has already been success in this area for the two clubs in 2015 when Omagh man Patrick Withers joined with three Arcane team riders to take bronze in the All Ireland team pursuit championship.

While FCC has a strong racing tradition at youth and senior level, we are also open to those new to the sport and leisure. Despite a small membership base at present the club includes current members with provincial and national medals, Ulster and Irish representative honours and an Irish record holder. FCC also has two Cycling Ireland qualified coaches.
